Howes Pass Trek - 2007
On August 30, 2007, land surveyors from British
Columbia, Alberta and Washington State participated in a hike to
Howse Pass on the Alberta & BC border to commemorate David
Thompson's first crossing of the Rocky Mountains in 1807. After
an overnight stay at the Kicking Horse Lodge in Golden BC. we began
our hike.
